Nichole Cassis, M.A.

Nichole Cassis received her Masters Degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Virginia. During her Clinical Certification Year following graduate school, she learned about the principles of Verbal Behavior while working in a Seattle clinic. During this time Nichole attended trainings in the areas of Verbal Behavior, LindaMood Bell's Visualizing and Verbalizing, and PROMPT remediation for motor speech disorders. Nichole moved to the DC area in 2005 and since that time has attended the Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced RDI seminars in Houston Texas. Nichole plans to attend training in the Beckman Oral Motor technique for feeding and oral motor skills within the coming year. She maintains ASHA certification in speech language pathology and has worked in private practice, school, and home-based settings.
