The Aurora School is excited to be partnering with Florida Institute of Technology and Dr. Jose Martinez-Diaz to bring this educational opportunity to Northern Virginia. Beginning March 31, 2007, the Florida Institute of Technology will offer a Professional Development Program in Behavior Analysis. The course sequences are approved by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and may be used to meet the instructional requirements for certification as a BCABA or BCBA.

Each class of the course sequence will be broadcast live, alternatively from studios located at Florida
Tech and Florida Gulf Coast University. Students will communicate with course developer and instructor Dr.
Martinez-Diaz in real-time. The Northern Virginia site will be located at The Aurora School and will have
Jamie M. Duncan MS, BCBA as an on-site facilitator.  Testing, with the exception of the final exam will be
done online. Class sessions will be available on a course Web site for review; and to make up missed
class sessions.
